EFS Logo Car Hire

A variety of car hire options are provided in association with EFS Fleet Solutions.  The cover provided includes:

COMPREHENSIVE COVER
Provides the Insured with a courtesy vehicle for 30 days in the event of theft, hi-jacking or accidental damage.

COMPREHENSIVE COVER + MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN
Provides the Insured with a courtesy vehicle for 30 days in the event theft, hi-jacking or accidental damage.  It also provides the Insured with a courtesy vehicle for 7 days in the event of mechanical breakdown or 1 day (per annum) in the event of the Insured’s vehicle being booked for a normal service if instruction is given 2 days prior to the service.

LIMITED COVER
Provides the Insured with a courtesy vehicle for 30 days in the event of theft or hi-jacking.

Liability Plus (Personal Lines Extended Liability Cover)


This product is provided in association with Southern Cross Risk Management and is underwritten by AIG.  This cover provides an additional R20 000 000 liability cover on an umbrella basis.  It also provides the following Identity Theft Cover:

  • R30 000 for legal expenses incurred as a direct result of Identity Theft;
  • R750 for income lost due to time taken from work in order to resolve any Identity Theft (i.e. unpaid leave), other than if self-employed;
  • R2 500 for actual losses due to legal obligations to pay a creditor if, as part of the Identity Theft, any payment cards, bank accounts, or other credit accounts were opened without authorisation; and
  • R2 500 for miscellaneous expenses incurred as a result of the Identity Theft.

Commercial Liability Plus (Commercial Extended Liability Cover)

This product is provided in association with Southern Cross Risk Management and is underwritten by AIG.  This product provides additional Umbrella Liability cover to the value of R20 000 000, and includes Identity Theft Cover for the Principal Director of the company.  Additional cover can be bought for the balance of the Directors and staff members.  All vehicles, subject to a maximum of 20 vehicles, will be covered by this policy.

Safeguard Cover

This product is Underwitten by Lion Of Africa. We have two options available, Safeguard Classic & Shield Comprehensive and it provides the following cover:

 

  • Safeguard provides for the shortfall in policy cover extensions which a customer experiences after a loss under his existing insurance policy extensions.
  • Provides cover following shortfalls in the underlying insurance policy’s extensions limits.

 

 

  • Provides limited cover for the reduction in claim pay-out or settlement sustained by you due to the application of the average clause contained within your policy wording.

 

 

  • Provides for a number of ADVANCED EXTENSIONS, which do not necessarily follow the underlying policy.
